College students today face innumerable financial challenges ranging from student loans to high credit card debt to worrying about finding a job after graduation in the current economy. In this webinar, Joyce Serido of University of Arizona’s APLUS study will walk through recent findings from their research about college students and their finances. They also will go beyond the research into what can be done to provide meaningful financial education for young people.
These research findings are the first wave of a longitudinal study surveying groups of young adults as they pass through a series of milestone events. This first wave was funded by the National Endowment for Financial Education® (NEFE®).

After the webinar, we invite listeners to ask additional questions, share ideas, or discuss topics inspired by the Webinar at http://groups.google.com/group/aplus-post-webinar-discussion. Speaker Joyce Serido will take part in the discussion as well.
